Willis Hartshorn left the International Center of Photography last year for medical reasons. He moved to the country and returned to his passion, photography. He just launched his own website and sent us this message: “I was trained as a photographer at the Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester, and hoped to get a teaching job after graduate school so I would have the flexibility to do my own work. In 1980 I started teaching at ICP.
