The European Press Review by Michel Philippot

Preview

This week was very poor, photographically speaking, at least in the papers I read. I hope that those I didn’t read made their readers happy, but I doubt it from what I see at newsstands. On Saturday Libération chose a double-page spread of “Idea Images.” Why “images” with an “s” for a single image? And why “image” instead of “photo” or “photography?” Is “photo” somehow suspect? Nevertheless, the editors always make a good choice and I salute them. What else? Sorry, ladies, George Clooney is head over heels for Amal Amaludin… everything is interesting.

Have a nice week.
