Prix Icart Photo 2013

Preview

On January 10, the jury of the second edition of the Prix Icart Photo met to award the Prix 2013 and the Jury Prize.

Founded in 2012 by Yan Morvan, the prize awards the best works produced during his month-long seminar held during Icart Photo. The 2013 theme was: “You are the Minister of Culture. Show how you would represent the French cultural heritage.”

The Prix Icart Photo was awarded to Marjolaine Roland, who photographed unused buildings inaccessible to the public, twisting the contest theme to show a desolate aspect of our heritage, and to Cyril Duchêne, for his work showing the trinkets collected by three generations of women from the same family.

Seventeen projects were submitted to jury members Madame Agnès de Gouvion Saint Cyr, Maureen Auriol, Aline Manoukian, Lydie Trigano, Alain Mingam, Bernard Perrine and Michel Puech.

The winners also received a hand-signed print by Yan Morvan.
