Enforesting: They didn’t know it was possible, so they did it.

Introduction:

“This sixth episode of The Eyes Talks welcomes Andréa Olga Mantovani, a committed photographer and visual artist. Together we discussed her career and her book “Enforesting,” published by D’une Rive à l’Autre.”

With a background in geography, Andrea Olga Mantovani has been exploring the connections between landscapes, memory, and ecological issues for several years. For six years, she traveled the globe, exploring the relationship between humans and their environment through a documentary and artistic approach.

ENFORESTING

Enforesting focuses on the preservation of the last primary forests in Eastern Europe.
This book was born from the encounter between a photographer, a philosopher, and a forest. Nourished by the Białowieża Forest, Andrea Olga Mantovani and Baptiste Morizot have joined forces to weave the myth of the original forest.
