Philippe Echaroux, Scenes from everyday life

Preview

The exhibition featuring the works of Philippe Echaroux , Maxime Delvaux and Kevin Laloux was organized by the Galerie Chipchop, a new concept for an online gallery created by Sophie Rivière and Benoit Faiveley.

ChipChop is an itinerant gallery that rents spaces according to the current exhibition’s needs. The idea is to promote the acquisition of artworks and interaction between the public and the photographers.
Philippe Echaroux (b. 1983) lives and works in Marseilles.

As a student in Marseilles, Echaroux felt the need to escape from academic framework. One evening in August 2007, in search of a new means of expression, he turned towards photography. An autodidact, he quickly mastered the art of the image and the secrets of the discipline. In 2008, he attracted attention during a photography contests organized by Dior and FNAC, and soon earned a degree in social work. He cares to give his time to people in need.

Echaroux is an eccentric who loves simplicity, a dreamer with his head square on his shoulders. His mission is to speak to man directly, so it’s not surprising that he specializes in portrait photography.

Philippe has just launched the program “Faire de la Photo en Faisant du Bien” and donates a percentage of his earnings to different associations in order to call attention to humanitarian and ecological causes.
