Directly after the first Photography session Adams Amsterdam Auctions will sell 72 photos by Paul Blanca, one of the most singular and versatile photographers of our time. None other than Robert Mapplethorpe called him “my only competitor”. Making raw portraits and absolutely original compositions and installations, carving figures in human flesh, painting with heroin, printing with bull’s blood, Paul Blanca did it all.
