Preview

The exhibition Départ d’usines, 1970 – 1990. The photoreporters of Nantes tell us is organized mainly around the work of Hélène Cayeux (AFP, Ouest-France), Jean-Noël Thoinnet, Jacky Péault (Presse Océan) and Gilles Luneau (Gamma), the exhibition presents nearly two hundred photographs combining period originals, contemporary reproductions made from scans, large formats, as well as the itinerary of the production of a press photo.

As part of the Nantes Photographic Fortnight festival, the Passage Sainte-Croix in partnership with LA RUE DE LA GRUE NOIRE (series of events around photography and Nantes’ industrial heritage, produced by the Nantes en noir et blanc association ) and with the support of the Labor History Center (CHT) offers a photo exhibition on the memory of industrial heritage in Nantes.

Many events are organized around the exhibition, including film debates at the Cinématographe, a round table on November 17 at the Passage Sainte-Croix and even guided tours every Saturday at 3 p.m.
