On the occasion of Paris Photo, we asked the exhibiting galleries for their suggestions for three images with three different prices: less than €1,000, €1,000 to €5,000, and more than €5,000. Here are the results, and thanks again to them!
Vintage Galeria (Hungary) does not offer images below 5000. BÁLINT Endre Really from monkeys? 1959 is at 6000 euros.
Vasari (Argentina) does not offer works below 5000 euros. Glasses for a Different Vision (Martha Le Parc, Venice Biennale), 1965 by Julio Le Parc is priced at 5000 euros.
Wouter van Leeuwen (The Netherlands), like the two previous galleries, does not have any photographs priced below 5000 euros. Here is Maja Daniels’ “Three Sisters,” from the series “Gertrud,” 2020, which you can acquire for 6900 euros.
Zen Foto Gallery (Japan) No images under €1000: Hideka Tonomura, Soul Trip, photographed in 2012/2020, between €1000 and €2000, and Tamiko Nishimura, Nihonbashi-Hamacho, Vintage Print, photographed in 1978, is over €5000.
