Introduction
Kuckei + Kuckei was established in 1993 by the brothers Ben and Hannes Kuckei. In 1998 they moved to Linienstrasse 158, right into the center of what was then Berlin’s booming young gallery scene. Their program is based on contemporary positions by international artists with whom they have established good and profound relationships and for whom they act as agents while accompanying their careers.
Artists being represented by the gallery usually work conceptually, which is being expressed in various forms. In solo shows and group shows the gallery presents photography, painting, drawing, object and video installation.

What is your point of view on the financial side of the photographic market today ?
The photographic market has been growing constantly for the last years despite financial crisis and fashionable trends. We discover everyday interesting, unique and new positions from artists all over the world. Photography is a global and contemporary medium which reaches more and more passionate collectors. Kuckei + Kuckei will continue to develop and support new artists and deeply believe in the singular approach photography offers to the art market.
