The Musée des Avelines presents, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the French postcard, an exhibition centered on its collection of old postcards of Saint-Cloud, in partnership with the Clodoaldian historians and picture postcard collectors Michel Martinez and Benoît Tedaldi.
Presented from April 14 and until July 10, the new exhibition at the Musée des Avelines is an opportunity to carry out a major reflection on the period of the Belle Époque (end of the 19th century – 1914) in Saint-Cloud.
As well as on the medium of the postcard, as much for its artistic and historical values as for its materiality and its aesthetics.
