Founded in Lyon in 1980, the gallery Vrais Rêves exists thanks to an association of volunteer photography fans. With great freedom in its artistic choices, the gallery aims to showcase photographs of a poetic, dreamlike or philosophical nature. Duane Michals has been exhibited there twice. For the MIA, the gallery will exhibit work by the photographer couple Pilar Albajar and Antonio Altarriba taken from their latest surrealist series, Tyrannie, which they describe as follows
