The Heritage and Photography Media Library announces new additions.
The MPP’s digital library, which will go online in December 2024, has just been enriched with new collections.
173 CRMH Albums, which complement the 5,500 net records already accessible individually on Archiv’MH.
A new journal: Les Pierres de France (1937-1953).
38 monographs, including:
A collection related to the Historic Monuments Service: 1840 report, 1846 report, notes and circulars from 1862, circulars from 1875, laws and decrees from 1889.
A collection dedicated to the archives of the Historic Monuments Commission: the four volumes published from 1855 to 1872, the presentation of the Archives from 1900; The 5-volume inventory of the archives (1898-1904); the 1895 library catalog.
More technical works on mosaic tiling, the use of brick and plaster, trusses, and a Builder’s Guide.
Illustrated collections of plates: a collection by Jean Lepautre, an album of wallpaper from the Opéra Garnier, an album by the Marquise de Maillé…and many other gems!
All of these documents have been OCRed: their content can therefore be searched in full text using the site’s search engine. A third batch, currently being digitized, will be posted online early next year.
