In Bed With is the new book by Mathilde Biron. It is presented as follows:
A personal diary. A collection of suspended moments. Traces of real-life stories.
An unmade bed like a memory. Crumpled sheets imprinted with the marks of desire, tender gestures, the warmth of two entwined bodies. For eight years, Mathilde Biron has photographed these fragments of truth with raw gentleness. With In Bed With…, she explores the flesh, the connection, what binds us, moves through us, escapes us.
Her lens becomes a confidant. It captures the ephemeral, the invisible. Inhabited silences, glances that meet without ever seeking to possess. Here, nudity is neither posed nor provoked: it is lived. The images tell of what is not said, what is felt. It is a photograph of the moment, of breath, of skin, and of absence.
After two books published by publishing houses (Ne sois pas vulgaire, Si ton père te voyait), the author chose self-publishing for this project. A gesture of independence, born from the desire to create a free, personal book, free from the usual economic constraints. In Bed With… thus becomes an intimate object.
“This book is an invitation to lose oneself, to recognize oneself, to let oneself be touched. A mirror in which our own stories resonate.” — Mathilde Biron
