The 6th edition of the MAP Festival, directed by Pierre Garrigues, is being held in Toulouse starting now through the end of the month. This year’s artistic director, Ulrich Lebeuf, a photographer for the MYOP agency, chose the theme “Street photography.” Many famous photographers come to mind when we think of street photography, and this edition of the festival pays tribute to Saul Leiter, the pioneer of color street photography who passed away last November at the age of 90.
