For this 24th edition of the program, students from the 13 participating classes in the Grand-Orly Seine-Bièvre region were invited to explore in photography.
The four participating photographers: Antoine Bertron, the duo Rafael Serrano & Gilberto Güiza, and Alexandra Serrano, invited the children to discover different ways of producing soft focus images by playing with focus, exposure times, the use of filters, and also by varying the type of camera used: a digital pinhole camera, a small portable scanner, or a view camera. Contrary to the adage that a blurry photo is a bad one, the children produced a wide variety of intriguing, sensitive, and offbeat photographs, offering a new vision of themselves and their environment, sometimes bordering on abstraction.
