In my seventh decade (1985 – 1995), I experimented with a new concept : producing double exposure photos. The same film is exposed twice, juxtaposing. for example bullfights and museum paintings, and female nudes with old paintings interpreting the « Temptation of San Anthony ». I continued, though to photograph my favorite subjects ; nudes in the city or at the beach, bullfights, and my Camargue.
In my eighth decade (1995 – 2005), I producted my « Zebra nudes » with the participation of Liz, a charming young woman from New York. It was a wonderful opportunity to have the hospitality of friend on East 51st Street, where a yellow Venitian blind inspired me for this series of photographs that was so successful around the world. l am amazed to look back and realized that I started photographing my first nudes in 1958, and 20 years later I did my « Zebra nudes », and that now another 20 years later, I am still photographing women. I am still shooting!
