Le Bal – Debi Cornwall: “Still subject to the arbitrariness of Guantanamo, these men are condemned to wandering”

Preview

From February 9 to May 13, the Bal, in Paris, presents In Between, a collective exhibition that looks at the state of a world characterized by a loss of bearings and meaning. A certain fragile time, in which individuals roam, their life suspended. 14 contemporary photographers – including Bas Jan Ader, Debi Cornwall, Luc Delahaye, Darek Fortas, Hiwa K, Rabih Mroué, and Henk Wildschut – capture our epoch in various artistic forms. The Eye of Photography dedicates a special edition to the exhibition and offers you  a video interview with the American photographer Debi Cornwall, whose work tells the stories of men imprisoned in Guantanamo.
