The Itinérances association is organizing the 4th edition of its Itinérances Foto (IF) photography tour, which will be held in Sète from May 14 to 31, 2026. Composed exclusively of volunteers, our association (under the French law of 1901) brings together photographers, art and culture enthusiasts, cultural project leaders, art and photography galleries, and collectors of photographs and antique cameras. Committed to the city of Sète and its unique character, we aim to share its richness through an artistic event that reflects our values of generosity, sharing, and kindness. The objective of Itinérances Foto is to promote and enhance photographic creation in all its forms.
Theme: “What if this was life?”
Selection criteria
• Artistic quality and originality.
• Consistency of the author’s vision.
• Project aligned with the chosen theme.
• Balance between different forms of photographic writing (visual, contemporary, classical, or experimental).
The new or old nature of the work is not a selection criterion. Previously completed series are accepted. Priority will be given to photographers who have not previously exhibited within the framework of the IF. Selected projects may be exhibited in public spaces (walls, gardens, etc.) or in galleries, studios, venues, and institutions in Sète.
