Stand de tir of the photographer Claire Chevrier belongs to a serie of photographies that the artist realized in the 90s. For her it’s a way to reflect the representation of violence in our society. The work presented here by Pascal Beausse in charge of the collection of photographs of Cnap, focuses on the gesture and lethal dimension of the eye. This picture was presented in the exhibition “Images like birds” from July 6 to September 29, 2013 at the Friche La Belle de Mai in Marseille.
This work is registered in the inventory of the National Collection of Contemporary Art, that the CNAP has, as its mission, to enrich, preserve and disseminate.
