I was born in 1971 in Beirut. I received my first Canon at 11. I used it
as I wandered through the war torn city center ruins. After a long period during which I couldn¹t work in this city, the use of a compact Leica allowed me to slip into the bright lights of the sensual nightlife where, without glamour, violence and anxiety remained hidden. Exposed in Beirut in 2008, Nighthawks is currently at the Noorderlicht Photofestival 2011.
