Fausto Giaccone, born in 1943, grew up in Palermo, Sicily, and was graduated in architecture. His photographic activity began in 1968 during the students revolt in Rome which appeared in various Italian newspapers. In october 1968 he was the first to made a reportage about Palestinian fedayn in Jordan and published it in Paris Match.
