Photography Exhibition Prades le Lez’s Club de l’Image – The Photographic Diptich

The Prades le Lez’s « Club de l’Image » presents a photo exhibition dedicated to the Photographic Diptych, under the title « Two images, one eye ».

This exhibition will happen at La Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Baillarguet in Montferrier sur Lez, on March 14 and 15, and then 21 and 22.

The principle of diptych is the association of 2 pictures presented aside. As such, they dialog, self answer or are opposing. The meaning thus arises from this confrontation : Complementarity, contrast, visual or narrative echo.

The spectator is invited to establish himself the liks between the two images, with a free and sensible reading of the images, that may be landscapes, life scens, colors or pure graphic compositions. The themes are diverse and reflect the diversity of photographic approaches inside the Club. Some of those diptychs plays with forms and rythms, others plays with colors and situations, thus creating a visual story in two stages.
