Photography Workshop The 2024 Ekphrasis Grant of ADAGP, Aica and Le Quotidien de l’Art

For the 5th year, ADAGP has joined forces with AICA France (the French section of the International Association of Art Critics) and Le Quotidien de l’Art to bring together 10 artists and 10 critics who have never worked together before.

This meeting will give rise to the writing and distribution of a text (publication of the texts in French in Quotidien de l’Art).

Application deadline: 04.03.2024

The 10 winning artists will receive a text written by an art critic, remunerated at €1,750, plus €250 for translation. The program is the subject of two successive calls for applications: to artists who are members of ADAGP, and to critics who are members of AICA France.

Calendar of calls for applications and selection stages

Call for applications from ADAGP artist members: from January 15 to March 4, 2024 at 2 pm.
Meeting between artist and critic, and writing of text: July to end of October
Publication of text in French by Quotidien de l’Art: from January 2025
