More than a fashion book, City of Angels delves into the essence of Los Angeles itself—its people, its neighbourhoods, and its cultural heartbeat. Shot in iconic LA locations, the portraits offer an intimate glimpse into the city’s vibrant style and cultural fabric, from the glamour of Hollywood to the gritty authenticity of Venice Beach.

The book features a stellar roster of celebrities, local icons, and emerging talent, including Grammy-winning artists Thundercat and Syd (The Internet), and rapper YG; fine artist Lauren Halsey; actor Ashton Sanders (Moonlight); actress and icon Lauren London; cultural figures such as Jesse Jo Stark (Chrome Hearts), Arrow De Wilde, and Taz Arnold; and designers Sami Miro, Nosesso, and Spanto and Alex (Born x Raised).
Approximately 80% of the individuals featured are native Angelenos, offering a deeply personal and authentic perspective on the city’s creative community. Isaac “Sickid” Psalm Escoto’s illustrated maps further enrich the book’s exploration of Los Angeles’ unique cultural and geographical landscape.
