BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! The Magazine Volume 11 is out now.
The new BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! magazine has had a redesign with a new sexy glossy red cover with gold mirror foil lettering.
BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! founder & editor Ghislain Pascal said: “BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! continues to be the only magazine dedicated to publishing the best queer and gay fine art photography in the world. After ten issues it was time for a little design tweak with our new sexy glossy cover – which makes us stand out even more.”
Volume 11 features nine photographers from around the world: Tom Botting (UK), Michael Epps (USA), Arturo Goñi (Peru), Nigel Grimmer (UK), Alfonso Ibato (Mexico), Brennan Rigg (USA), Dmytro Komissarenko (Ukraine), Liu Tao (China), & Sean Patrick Watters (USA).
It includes a feature interview by Gustavo Forcada with film director Sam Shahid about his film ‘Hidden Masters: The Legacy of George Platt Lynes’ – illustrated with images by George Platt Lynes.
$1 from the sale of each magazine goes to charities supporting the LGBTQ+ community and fighting the HIV / AIDS epidemic.
BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! is a programme by The Little Black Gallery started in 2018 by co-founder Ghislain Pascal to promote queer and gay fine art photography.
It now represents more than 90 photographers from 34 countries – including China, India, Iran, Kenya, Poland and Russia where gay rights are repressed and queer lives under constant threat.
BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! includes the bi-annual magazine, books, zines, exhibitions, a new podcast, photography courses, and the main online art platform. The first BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! Gallery Café opened in Fitzrovia, London in October 2024.
