blume is a photography platform focusing on the relationship between people, place and space.
Issue 001 of blume magazine features 6 photographic projects, combining thought-provoking visual storytelling with an eco-conscious, slow media approach. Each project reflects blume’s mission to uncover and examine the relationship between people, place and space in a global context.
The editors have chosen photographers with a personal connection to their work, as they believe this strengthens authorship and reinforces authentic visual storytelling. The issue brings together a variety of visual styles, with powerful narrative photography from Georgia, Syria, Sudan, Bangladesh, South Korea and the UK.
