The Yann Le Mouel auction house is organizing a sale of photographs for the Rencontres d’Arles photo festival. A total of 136 lots will be sold in the festival offices (rue Docteur Fanton) on July 10th at 18:00. The consultants for this sale are Marion and Philippe Jacquier, directors of the Lumière des Roses gallery, based in Montreuil for the past ten years.
Photographs from the auction will be exhibited from Monday, July 7th to July 10th, 2014. In addition to many anonymous work are photographs by Lucien Clergue, Edouard Baldus, Eugène Atget, Brassaï, Jean-Pierre Sudre, Cécil Beaton, Edouard Boubat, Willy Ronis, Pierre Vergé, Nobuyoshi Araki, Goksin Sipahioglu, Lennart Olson, Martine Franck, David Burnett, Jean Dieuzaide, Sebastião Salgado and Henri Cartier-Bresson.
