Sylvie Lécallier graduated in 1993 from the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie. Since 2000, she has overseen the Galliera photography collection at the Musée de la Mode de la ville de Paris. This specialized collection contains 50,000 photographs, and includes the archives of the Vogue photographer Henry Clarke. Curator of the exhibitions Henry Clarke: photographe de mode (2002) and Ouverture pour Inventaire (2004), as well as the co-curator of Madame Grès la couture à l’oeuvre at the Musée Bourdelle (2011), she is also the author of the Henry Clarke catalogue.
