Preview

The work of Angelo Musco is an ongoing story with each new chapter written in answer to the one that precedes it. The world of Tehom connects with Cortex System. We pass from the underwater world to the world under ground, still fertile and full of life. Cortex channels these abyssal lives up through the roots of a mysterious forests, through a vascular system of intertwining roots feeding the trees. While the bodies of Tehom were floating and free of any form, Cortex is built around an architectural structure, combining stories of mystery and suspense, darkness and light, isolation and community.

Angelo Musco was born in Naples in 1973 and has lived in New York since 1997. Since arriving in the United States, Musco has photographed in public and private spaces, including increasingly complex elements. His photo shoots have become events, inciting the volunteers that participate to take an active part in the work.
