Good news for professional organisations representing authors: a bill to reform the proof of originality of a work has officially been submitted to the Senate by Sylvie Robert, Senator for Ille-et-Vilaine. The aim of this proposal, the text of which is available online, is to give authors the material possibility of defending their moral and economic rights before the courts. The UPP welcomes the parliamentarians’ consideration of this important issue for all creators.
