ICP : The Celebration of the opening night on June 21st

The evening marked the much-awaited opening of the new ICP Museum and its premiere exhibition, Public, Private, Secret – an exploration of privacy in visual culture. DJ Chelsea Leyland spun tunes, and Perrier-Jouet Champagne flowed as guests wandered through the Museum’s galleries to take in the provocative new exhibition.

On hand to celebrate with Executive Director Mark Lubell and Curator-in-Residence Charlotte Cotton were Grace Coddington, Stefano Tonchi, Anne Pasternak, Samantha Bass, Melissa Schiff-Soros, Judith Bookbinder, Lisa Dennison, Caryl Englander, Pat Schoenfeld, Bob Jeffrey, Kate Shin, Tom Finkelpearl, Eugenie Tsai, Michael Ward Stout, Eric Johnson as well as Public, Private, Secret artists including Patrick McMullan, Natalie Bookchin, Kurt Caviezel, Mark Ghuneim, Lyle Ashton Harris, John Houck, Jill Magid, Rashid Johnson, David Reinfurt, Stefan Ruiz, Shelly Silver, and Mike Mandel; as well as ICP 2016 Infinity Award recipients Matthew Connors and Gregor Hochmuth, and other notable photographers such as Mark Seliger, Adam Fuss, Larry Fink, Bruce Davidson, Tina Barney, Mitch Epstein, LaToya Ruby Frazier, and Timothy Greenfield-Sanders.
