As part of GonzoFest 2026, C+C Photography Gallery hosted an evening with Al Satterwhite at their New York gallery.
GonzoFest is a multi-day event celebrating the life and legacy of Hunter S. Thompson. This year’s focus was on Thompson’s political writing and activism, and included a diverse program of panel discussions, poetry readings, film screenings, and art exhibitions across various venues around the city.
The Cozumel Diary: Al Satterwhite’s Week in Mexico with Hunter S. Thompson, features a selection of Satterwhite’s photographs and stories from his time with Thompson.
