Generation Y on a desert island.
From April 24 to 30, 2019, photographer Trisha Groves exhibits at the Iconoclasts Gallery a series of 52 portraits of young adults of the Generation Y (also called the Millenials) that she photographed in her studio with THE book or THE record that they would take on a desert island.
Trisha Groves: “I was amazed by the enthusiasm that all these young people showed for this project. They often came from afar to participate. They thought a lot about the choice of the object, which often surprised and impressed me. That’s what I was looking for, I wanted them to get involved. We decided together of the situation and the choice of clothes. After each shooting they chose the final picture with me. I wanted them to be satisfied with the picture of themselves. ”
