Exhibited earlier this year at the Nue Galerie, Ren Hang is a provocative young Chinese “poet and photographer” who explores the possibilities of the body with uninhibited sexuality. Condemned by the Chinese intelligentsia, his work has been the subject of several exhibitions and attracted international attention.
VICE magazine, which has long been a fan of Hang’s work, organized casting call with its readers, some of whom were invited to pose for him.
