A rise in human density will lead inexorably to a rise in urban density. Modeled after the large international metropolises, cities fill up and spaces divide to form new living structures. Structures Urbaines is a series in which I wanted to evoke the problems or organization in urban spaces by bringing to the fore the excesses of architecture and the search for the spectacular. Here architecture is used as raw material in the composition of fanciful new urban landscapes. Decomposition, multiplication of urban patterns, fragmentation of residential zones. The appearance of overcrowded landscapes foretells a kind of dehumanization.
