Until November 16, the Shoah Memorial is presenting a mind-blowing exhibition: How the Nazis photographed their crimes, Auschwitz 1944, under the curatorship of Tal Bruttmann.
This exhibition is based in particular on the “Auschwitz album”, a photographic album produced by the SS to show Nazi dignitaries the perfect control of extermination operations on site.
It invites the visitor to decipher these photographs and find clues that allow us to understand the organization of the deportation, the “selection” but also the violence and cynicism of its organizers, as well as the flaws in the process and finally the resistance of the victims often denied.
The exhibition speaks for itself, Do look at it!
