Satellite Space : Hunter Barnes : Visions of Tomorrow

Satellite Space in New York presents a Hunter Barnes retrospective titled Visions of Tomorrow. Barnes presents it thus:

“An intersection of thoughts of where I have been lead and invited. Some seen years before without knowing, on a path where you are supposed to be. A vision felt from within. Reflections come together where all journeys lead to one. Each day shared these moments have become a part of my life. A road that I have traveled, a feeling within each frame, the process circling in motion that can lead you to tomorrow where it all began.” — Hunter Barnes

Hunter Barnes (b. 1977) is a documentary photographer whose work captures aspects of intense, true pockets of culture and communities ignored by the mainstream and often misrepresented in the modern American narrative. His work has been shown in the USA and internationally in galleries since 2001 and is housed in the permanent archives of Middlebury College Museum of Art.
