Pre-war tennis, between sportswear and ready-to-wear.

From the 1920s, athletes abandoned tie and long skirt for an outfit more suited to the practice of tennis while maintaining elegance. Some athletes declined their name as a brand and opened shops that combine “sport” and “city”, this was the beginning of “sportswear”.
