A very nice photo received last Friday from the Galerie Argentic to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe. On May 8, 1945, at 3 p.m., the bells rang to mark the end of the Second World War in Europe. General de Gaulle himself announced the German capitulation in a radio address. All over France, scenes of joy celebrated the defeat of Nazism.
