Rencontres du 10e – Samuel Bollendorff, The dead in the street

Preview

When you live on the street, you die. Officially more than five hundred people died on the street in 2016. Six times more, according to the collective Les Morts de la Rue. Life expectancy on the street is forty-nine years, that’s thirty years less than for the average French person. No more die in winter than in summer, but they die alone. This is what Samuel Bollendorff shows us in his photographs all through suggestion.
