In Nice on the Promenade des Anglais, Sacha Goldberger presents “Portraits croisés” from February 22 to March 22, 2023.
“Portraits croisés” is the crazy idea of a unique series of photos from loomed up from the mind of Sacha Goldberger, which transforms personalities from cinema, song, theater or literature into emblematic figures of the culture, real or fictitious, current or historical.
Sacha Goldberger was able to photograph a gallery of sometimes moving, often funny portraits which are all tributes in images to artistic diversity and mix of cultures.
Thirty-eight portraits, produced in 2021 and 2022, will be exhibited in the open air on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice from February 22 to March 22, 2023. Thus Mathieu Chedid is transformed into Charlot, Guillaume Gallienne into Molière, Zaz into Marlène Dietrich, Kev Adams as Mona Lisa, Caroline Vigneaux as Wonder Woman, Olivia Ruiz as Barbarella, Mathilda May as Colette, Bartabas as Don Quixote, Johan Sfarr as Bluebeard, Renaud Capucon as Buster Keaton, Irène Frain as Princess Leia, Alexandre Jardin as Dracula… .
It is the uninhibited approach to culture, celebrated in the works of Sacha Goldberger, which led Cultura to support his project “Portraits Croisés”.
It is a question of encouraging everyone to embark on a cultural and artistic experience with pleasure. Because culture must be lively, jubilant and open, this series advocates the decompartmentalization of cultures and promotes their meeting.
