In this year of Brexit, we wanted to give a nod to England by dedicating our large exhibition on the beach to Martin Parr and his iconic images of New Brighton and the British coast, taken over the years. 1980 and 1990. Under the title of Our friends the English, a giant and colorful installation presenting holidaymakers, bathers and walkers plays the trompe-l’oeil and offers a funny face-to-face with our neighbors, who this year became… a little more distant.
