The Rest of the World
Between 2023 and 2024, I developed this photographic series within communities in Peru and Bolivia. It is an immersion into what is silently negotiated: the heritage that is passed on, the one that is transformed, and the one that is allowed to fade away.
Through portraits, everyday scenes, and landscapes, I sought to document these tensions between rootedness and adaptation, collective memory and present realities. Photography becomes here a tool for listening, revealing fragments of life that often remain unseen.
«The Rest of the World» questions what persists despite everything, and how these communities continue to write their own history.
