Ed Asmus (b.1950) traveled to Ethiopia in 2015 to document the remote Surma tribe of southwestern Ethiopia. While there he discovered the rich heritage and culture of the tribal people of the Omo Valley. These photographs, many not seen before, document the strong, proud, and self-reliant people of the Surma tribe. These photographs will be shown in stand B3 at Photo London, September 8-12, 2021.
