Just across the street from Paramount Studios and Paris Photo LA sits Raleigh Studios, a much smaller space but a longtime home to independent producers and indie features. What a fitting place for a show catering to independent photographers. Now in its second year, Photo Independent has thrived and morphed, this year growing into three different concentrations, individual artists, galleries and book publishers. The spirit here is friendly, the people directly attached to the art they make and the quality of the work varies from very good to excellent and exciting.
