The gallery showcases twelve large-scale female nudes by American photographer Ralph Gibson. It is a homecoming of sorts for Gibson, a suburban Southern Californian born and bred son whose father worked for Warner Brothers, including as an assistant director to Hitchcock. Gibson lived, as he says “for and by the motion picture industry.” The gallery presents his work in his childhood backyard, at Paramount Pictures Studios. Known for his beautiful graphic, often mysterious images, Gibson’s distinct female nudes are shown here for the first time in a large-scale format.
