Paris Photo 2025 / MIRA Art Fair

Preview

From November 13 to 16, 2025, the MIRA fair returns to the Maison de l’Amérique Latine with a program refocused on the month of November, in synergy with Paris Photo.

MIRA is the first European fair exclusively dedicated to contemporary Latin American and Caribbean art.

The photographic highlight of this edition remains the exhibition Drawing the Territory Cross Perspectives on the Contemporary Art Collections of Société Générale and Jean-Michel Attal, conceived by art historian and curator Dayneris Brito. This project brings together works by ten major contemporary artists from the respective collections of the bank and the private collector:
Marie Bovo, Philip-Lorca diCorcia, Dionisio González, Cristina García Rodero, Edi Hirose, Anna Malagrida, Vik Muniz, Reynier Leyva Novo, Aleix Plademunt, and Andres Serrano.

A talk will be held on Friday, November 14, at 4 p.m., on the theme: “Photography and Power: Who Draws the Frontiers?” Participants will include curator Dayneris Brito, Matthias Pfaller (Centre Pompidou), artist Daniel Mebarek, and Aurélie Deplus (head of artistic patronage at Société Générale). This highly anticipated conversation will explore the intersection of photography, the power of images, and the geopolitics of representation.

By opening up more widely to contemporary photography for its second edition, MIRA aims to foster a dialogue between art and territory, creation and memory, private collections and institutional commitment, while asserting its uniqueness in the Parisian art fair landscape.
