Paris Photo 2025 / DANAE: new works by Louis-Paul Caron

Preview

DANAE announces its participation in the 28th edition of Paris Photo, which will take place from Thursday, November 13 to Sunday, November 16, 2025. DANAE will be present in the digital section of the fair, curated by Nina Roehrs.

On this occasion, DANAE will present a new series of works by French digital artist Louis-Paul Caron. His work, combining silent tensions and comitted metaphors, invites contemplation on a changing world. Inspired by realistic painting and genre cinema, Caron captures suspended moments, questioning our reactions to the fragilities of our time through digital videos and artificial images. He thus offers a critical visual reflection on environmental issues and the future of our society on Earth.

About Louis-Paul Caron

Louis-Paul Caron is a French digital artist based in Lyon, whose work has been presented internationally, notably at Art Basel, Seoul, New York, Milan, and Dubai.

At the crossroads of digital art and traditional practices, he explores our changing relationship with nature and climate change through video, oil painting, and artificial intelligence. Trained in design and digital arts at the École Boulle, the Design Academy Eindhoven, and ENSAD Paris, Caron combines classical pictorial techniques, generative algorithms, and immersive virtual environments. His work questions how the climate crisis is transforming the way we see, think, and imagine the future. Attentive to contemporary issues, he transforms environmental and technological challenges into visual narratives and immersive experiences, inviting the viewer to move from contemplation to active awareness.
