Founded in 1973, the Fundació Lluís Carulla works to promote the language, culture and values that define Catalan society, with the aim of strengthening a sense of belonging.
The Fundació Lluís Carulla stems from an initiative undertaken by Lluís Carulla Canals, at a time when Francoist repression was silencing Catalan language and culture.
The foundation has received several awards and honors, including the Creu de Sant Jordi, and the Premio Octubre a Instituciones, both in 2003.
I will finish with Nadala, which has entered into a partnership with Le Journal de la Photographie for the 2012 edition devoted to Catalan and Spanish photography.
