Photo London, the 2nd edition, from 18th to 22nd May, an overconsumption of images, to which is going to be added, sales, signings, lectures, talk shows and other speeches! The proof is certainly in the pudding: doesn’t last year’s success confirm it? There is more than this at stake. The arrival of new collectors, the predominance of fairs, the slow or even long disappearance of salerooms to the advantage of those on line, the gradual fading from view of the galleries in the face of the internet and especially as in New York or London, because of the demented property prices.
